5 Tips to Successfully Increase User-Generated Content

Don’t you love it when people mention or tag your brand on their posts? Having people post about you means that they have genuine feelings about your brand to the point that they want to share it with others! User-generated content can be a fantastic way to engage your audience and build trust with potential clients. Not only is it a great way to reach more people, but it’s also completely free and organic.

But how can you encourage people to post about you? Here are some strategies that you can use to successfully increase your user-generated content!

1. Contests and Giveaways

Launch a contest on your social media channels and ask your followers to share photos, videos, or stories related to their real estate journey. For example, you can ask them to share photos of their ‘dream home’ or a short story about their first home-buying experience. The best entries can win a prize, creating an incentive for participation.

2. Client Testimonials

Encourage your satisfied clients to share their experiences on your social media pages or website. You could even create a dedicated section on your PorchLyte profile for customer testimonials.

3. Feature User Posts

Regularly feature posts created by your clients or followers on your own channels. This could be as simple as sharing a post where a client mentions you or resharing content that is relevant to your audience. Make sure to always ask for permission and give credit to the original poster.
