1. WRITE A COMPELLING SUBJECT LINE

The subject is what the readers see first in an email. It gives them an overview of what the email is about. Most importantly, it is what makes them decide if they will open the email or not. So you gotta get their attention immediately in the subject line. Make it stand out among the dozens of emails your audience receives every day. You can personalize it to make them feel that the message is solely for them. Cliffhangers are also an effective way to make your audience curious about the email; hence, leading them to open and read it.

1. SEGMENT YOUR AUDIENCE

If you’re using an email service provider, use one that allows you to segment your audience. Segmenting your email marketing list can increase your open rates and clickthrough rates. You can segment your audience in different ways depending on your campaigns. For example, you can segment those clients who have already bought a property from you versus those who haven’t yet. You can also segment them by demographics or geographic location. Think of the most strategic and effective way to segment your audience and analyze the results from there.

1. USE POWERFUL CTA BUTTONS

Call-to-action buttons (CTAs) are important in any email marketing campaign! Make sure that your content is connected to your message and that it will build up what you want your audience to take action on.

You can also put your CTAs in different parts of your email, such as inside the body of your content, but make sure that you mention in naturally in your paragraphs. Make sure to craft a powerful CTA that is simple, direct to the point, and hard to ignore.

1. KEEP IT SHORT AND SIMPLE

No one wants to read a very long and dragging email. Even though the email started interesting, the reader will eventually lose interest if the email is too long. Who would want to spend several minutes to read one email if you still have a lot of unread emails to get into? Keep it short and simple. Do not complicate your message. What the audience wants is an informative yet brief and straightforward message.

Creating an email marketing campaign is more powerful than you think. Because it is highly targeted, most of your subscribers are already aware and interested in your brand. Make sure to craft an effective email marketing campaign to convert your leads into clients and to build your business faster!
