How to Use Twitter for Real Estate Marketing

As real estate agents, building a strong social media presence is important. Twitter is one channel that can be useful for us to build our brand and connect with our audience, but it can also be challenging to use. Here are some ways to use Twitter especially if you are just starting out:

1. Post content relevant to your area

One way to be known as a real estate expert in your area is to post content that is relevant to your locality. This can be either news, events, market updates, listings, questions, food for thought, or anything that you think can attract your target audience’s attention while contributing relevant content.

2. Post the latest real estate news

By posting the latest real estate news, you are putting yourself out there as the source of information. Once you establish your credibility on Twitter, people will eventually look at your account for relevant and trusted real estate information.

3. Engage with users

Don’t just post on Twitter, you also need to engage with other users. Don’t be afraid to retweet and reply to people’s tweets. Regularly look up relevant hashtags and see what people are saying about it – engage and contribute to a meaningful discussion when you can.

4. Use relevant hashtags

Last but not the least, don’t forget to use relevant hashtags when you are tweeting. One of the best ways to be discovered on Twitter is to use hashtags. Hashtags will help you be found by audience’s with the same interests – which can help you grow your followers and generate leads.
