Here’s your Monday morning routine!

As a realtor, each week can be very busy and it can sometimes be exhausting to keep up with everything that’s going on. It is important to prepare for the week ahead. One thing that can help busy realtors like you is by creating a Monday morning routine to condition yourself emotionally and mentally, and set the work week right.

Here’s a simple Monday morning routine that you can follow:

1. Spend time with yourself.

Before you start with your business, it is important to do something personal first. Spend a little bit of time in the morning with yourself. This will help put you in the right state of mind, prepare yourself to face the week, and motivate you to chase success. Choose what works best for you – it can be a quick yoga session, meditation, reading, or simply practicing gratitude and providing yourself with words of affirmation.

2. Catch up and organize your emails.

Checking your emails regularly will make them more manageable. It usually becomes overwhelming if you let messages pile up. Moreover, as a realtor, it is important to check and respond to messages as soon as possible. To make it easier for you, you can set specific schedules on when you have to check your email. You can check it first thing in the morning, after lunch, and at the end of the day. This will avoid disrupting your workflow and lessen distractions as you go on with your day. To keep it more organized, you can also label your emails based on urgency.

3. Organize and set reminders for your schedule.

By the start of the week, make sure to check your schedule. You would always want to be on track and avoid missing an appointment just because you forgot about it. Aside from your calendar, keep a more detailed overview of your weekly schedule. Set reminders for important meetings and appointments.

4. Set your business and personal goals.

Aside from your usual weekly tasks, you would want your business to further progress and eventually grow. With this, it is also important to set your goals for the week. What do you want to achieve? You can set goals for your business as well as for yourself. For your business, it could be gathering more leads or scheduling a certain number of meetings for potential clients. For yourself, it can be starting a new hobby or eating healthier.
