How to build your Real Estate brand identity through Canva

How do you make your business stand out? The first thing you should do is build your brand identity. With just one look, your audience must be able to recognize that it is YOU! So how can you do that? Below are some tips on how to get you started:

Brand Identity Strategies

1. CHOOSE A TYPEFACE FOR YOUR BRAND

The fonts you choose will express the personality of your brand. Choose at least two fonts that reflect your brand identity and values, and use these consistently throughout your design. Make sure to choose a bold, expressive font for your headings and a readable font for your body text. You can also use different styles of the same font for different purposes.

2. CREATE A MOOD BOARD

A mood board, or an inspiration board, can help you develop your design ideas. It can help you save time and energy when brainstorming and can give you creative direction. Aside from Pinterest, Canva can help you in creating mood boards with hundreds of easily-searchable templates, images, and elements to choose from.

3. IDENTITY YOUR BRAND COLORS

Color is a significant part of your visual identity. It is not just about how your materials or content will look like. But also about how your audience will be able to associate you with a certain color. Start by creating a color palette for your brand – maybe one main color and 2 or 3 complementary colors which you can play with when creating your brand materials.

4. USE COMPELLING IMAGES

You tell your brand story through images. Given that the audience is already overwhelmed with a lot of content online, you need to provide them with an image that is compelling enough for them to stop scrolling. And voila! You already have their attention.
