Having your own website is essential for every agent. With a website, agents can experience many benefits. You’ll be able to build awareness about your business, generate quality leads, increase your brand credibility — all while having full information control. Here are some essential things that you need to have on your website in order to convert:

1. A clear description of who you are + what you do

With a good website, people should know who you are and what you do from the get go. It’s important to have a clear homepage copy that tells people what your business is about. You should also have an ‘about me’ page as well as a page for your services on your website.

2. Client testimonials

Having a string of client testimonials on your website will give you a boost of credibility. It gives visitors an insight on what it’s like to work with you without being too salesy. Make sure to include a few strong testimonials on your homepage. If you don’t have that many testimonials yet, it’s time to start collecting them every time you close a sale!

3. Fresh, quality content

If you want to have a higher chance of your website being seen, you’ll need to boost your search engine optimization (SEO) by producing fresh, quality content on your website. What this means is writing and publishing blog content that’s relevant to your audience. You can write about local market updates, post about your listings, write educational real estate content, and more.

4. A strong call-to-action

Having a strong call-to-action on your homepage, contact page, and at the end of every page is important. You’d want to convert your visitors into clients and you can get closer to that by getting their email addresses (when they opt in for your newsletters), getting them to follow you on your social media accounts, and best of all, getting them to call or send you a message.
