Time-Saving Hacks for Busy Realtors

How are you doing today? Getting ready for a busy week? If you’re facing another one of those super jam-packed weeks as a real estate agent, Porchlyte is here to help you! Aside from our resources and references, we’re here to ensure you make the most out of your week by providing you with these time-saving hacks for busy realtors:

1. Utilize hands-free calling.

How many calls do you get per day? I bet you get multiple calls almost throughout your day, and most of it comes during the busiest time in your day. As realtors, client servicing is one of our responsibilities to successfully sustain our business. And a big part of it is talking to clients – in person or over the phone. So it would be strategic to invest in hands-free technology. With this, you’ll be able to take calls while walking, driving, or doing errands. It will make things more convenient and is an ultimate time-saver!

2. Use a multi-stop route planner.

Some days you’ll definitely need to squeeze in a lot of appointments. What else can you do if that day is the only available schedule of multiple clients and business partners? Of course, you wouldn’t want to delay the opportunity. So if you need to attend multiple house showings and meetings in a day, a multi-stop route planner could be your best buddy. There are a lot of available apps like Google Maps or Waze. These apps will show you the best possible routes that you could take and help you efficiently plan your day.

3. Hire an administrative staff.

Let’s face it – you won’t always be able to do everything on your own. It’s okay to ask for help. And this is actually not a bad thing. If things keep piling up and you feel overwhelmed, it could just mean that your business keeps growing. So maybe it’s time to hire an administrative staff. Admin tasks can be a pain. So hiring someone to help you with these can save you a lot of time and let you focus on other aspects of your real estate business.

4. Practice time blocking.

Practice time blocking. Set a specific time for everything. If there are regular tasks that you need to do or tasks that you just couldn’t find time to accomplish, try to set aside a specific time block when you will just focus on those tasks. For example, you can allot an hour in the morning to check and send emails. This way, you’ll be sure to give time to all the things that you need to accomplish.
