Aside from Facebook, another social media site that is useful in expanding your real estate network is LinkedIn. You get to connect with fellow business owners, agents, and even potential and old clients. Since LinkedIn is known as a great relationship-building platform, it can be a powerful tool for real estate agents like you in growing your real estate business.

Here are more ways on how LinkedIn can help agents:

1. Establish a good reputation

A real estate property is probably one of the biggest purchases one will make. Hence, it is crucial for them to find someone they could trust for this purchase. LinkedIn is a great way to establish your reputation as a real estate expert.

If you have just met a new client, the first thing that they would probably do is look you up online. Of course, they would want to know if you would be able to excellently provide the services that they need. A simple Google search can lead them to your profile. So make sure your LinkedIn profile will show your relevant experience and details of your years of expertise in the field.

2. Grow you referral network

With LinkedIn, you would be able to connect with different professionals. Find potential clients or, if you have already maximized this strategy, look for other professionals who could refer potential clients to you.

Although some LinkedIn connections might not be in the real estate industry, they will most likely know someone who would be interested in investing in real estate. Working on your LinkedIn profile is definitely worth taking an effort since there is endless possibilites to build connections.

Who knows – some of them might actually be looking at investing in real estate. Make sure you’ll be on top of their minds by being always visible and present in LinkedIn.

4. Market effectively through LinkedIn groups

Have you heard of LinkedIn groups? Like Facebook, you can join relevant groups in LinkedIn to market your services. Just make sure to join groups that have more potential clients rather than competitors. Give value to the group by providing market updates, tips, and other real estate information.
